FAQ
Product
Are Sparxx real safety glasses or just sunnies?
Both. Sparxx Breeze meet AS/NZS 1337.1, the Australian and New Zealand standard for on-site eye protection, but they're designed to look like your favourite everyday sunglasses.
Are the lenses polarised?
Yes. Carbon (grey), Matte Black, Black Gloss and Clear Frame all have polarised lenses to cut glare on site, on the road and on the water. The Clear Frame & Lens (indoor) option has a clear lens for workshops, indoor work and low light.
Do they block UV?
Yes. All Sparxx lenses have UV400 protection.
Will the lenses scratch?
Sparxx lenses have an anti-scratch coating for extra scratch resistance. To meet AS/NZS 1337.1, safety lenses have to be made from shatter-resistant plastic rather than glass, so no safety lens is completely scratch-proof. To keep them looking new, clean them with a soft microfibre cloth, don't wipe them dry when they're dusty, and keep them in a case or pouch when you're not wearing them.
